Southampton midfielder Danny Butterfield hopes to recover from the dead leg he sustained in the 4-1 win over Huddersfield in time to play.Saints have no other new injury worries as they bid for the win that could lift them into an automatic promotion place.

Exeter return to action for the first time since 18 December with no fresh injury concerns for boss Paul Tisdale.

Defender Troy Archibald-Henville is available again after serving a one-match suspension.

Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale told BBC Radio Devon: "I've got fond memories of playing for Southampton and spending a lot of my time there, so I'm definitely looking forward to this particular game.

"Obviously we're there to get a result, but it will be an enjoyable day for me whatever.

"It's a big game, there's no doubt about it, and Southampton are playing some really good football so I'd imagine a big, big occasion."
