Exeter V Portsmouth at St James Park - Match Preview

Gill worry for GreciansExeter are waiting on the fitness of midfielder Matt Gill before the clash with Portsmouth. The former Norwich man has been struggling with a bruised ankle which saw him miss the Grecians' 1-1 draw at Burton last week and they will assess him before welcoming a Pompey side which beat them 3-2 at Fratton Park back in November.Tom Nichols made his first appearance of the campaign in that match and the homegrown striker, rested on Saturday, looks likely to come back into the reckoning and compete with John O'Flynn for a starting place.Matt Oakley is back in full training after his ankle problem but he looks unlikely to start against Pompey.Portsmouth have no new injury worries. But boss Richie Barker is still without defenders Danny East, Yassin Moutaouakil (both ankle) and Dan Butler (knee), midfielder Simon Ferry (back) and striker Tom Craddock (knee).Wes Fogden and Andy Barcham could return in midfield after dropping to the bench for last weekend's 1-0 home defeat by Torquay. That would see Barker revert to the side which collected only their second win in 16 attempts by beating Wycombe 1-0 the previous Tuesday
