Grecians extend sponsorship deal

Exeter City have extended the club's sponsorship deal with local airline Flybe until 2012.The new deal is said to entail a six-figure sum and represents a 20% increase on the previous arrangement between the two parties.

Flybe first sponsored the Grecians in 2002 and the new contract takes the partnership into its 10th year.

Exeter-based Flybe recently called time on a similar sponsorship deal with City's League One rivals Southampton.
