Wycombe V Exeter at Adams Park - Match Preview

Pittman set for Chairboys return

Wycombe could be boosted by the return of Jon-Paul Pittman when they welcome off-form Exeter.

The Chairboys were beaten 2-0 by Chesterfield on Saturday and after two away trips in four days Gareth Ainsworth could shuffle his pack for the clash.

They remain without Kortney Hause (ankle) but Charles Dunne, Dean Morgan and Max Kretzschmar are pushing for starts. Jo Kuffour (thigh) and Nick Arnold (groin) are major doubts.

Since a 1-0 win over Bristol Rovers on October 19, the Chairboys have won just one of their seven games in all competitions and have picked up just one League Two point.

Exeter look set to recall midfielder Matt Grimes to their starting line-up.

The 19-year-old has been a mainstay in the Grecians' line-up since breaking into the side earlier this season but he was rested at Rochdale having played for the club's Under-21 side against Southampton on Wednesday night.

Defender Danny Butterfield is also primed for a start after two substitute appearances in recent weeks having recovered from injury.

While Matt Oakley remains sidelined Paul Tisdale has a fully-fit squad to select from and after their fifth defeat in a row he looks likely to shuffle his pack with Jimmy Keohane, Tom Nichols and Tommy Doherty pushing for starts.
